Saudi Food and Drug Authority conducts a thorough check up on medicines, foods, diagnostic devices and drugs imported and locally produced. It is done so with the enactment of mandatory standards, by examining them in laboratories and attend to consumer awareness. The main aim of SFDA is to make sure the food and drug is free of any health risks before they reach it's consumers. This even includes the safety of biological, chemical and electronic devices affiliated to human welfare.
