KUCAS

KUCAS is the abbreviated word for Kuwait Conformity Assurance Scheme (KUCAS). All necessary items must abide by Kuwait's national technical regulations or it's suitable foreign standards. Each batch of enumerated goods exported is responsible to attain an ICCP certificate (CC) with the goods for customs approval. The specified cargo may be turned down when goods enter the importing country without a CC Certificate. Otherwise, sample testing will be necessary.

Main agenda of KUCAS program is to :

• Enhance security of the customers and environment from harmful counterfeit goods.
• Conformance Verification of goods in the Kuwaiti market, along with the practical standards and technical management.
• Safekeeping of domestic industry from biased competition of sub-par goods or non-compliant goods

Both Technical Inspection Reports (TIR) and Technical Evaluation Reports (TER) documents respectively verify adherence with both Kuwaiti import regulations and Kuwaiti technical regulations as well as foreign/regional/domestic standards.
